2025: The Year of Decisive Victories
Hey everyone, it’s Jeromiah from Born to Win Ministries. I’m so excited to share this word with you today, and I believe it’s going to bless you! As we look ahead to 2025, God has a powerful plan for His people—a year of decisive victories.
Before we dive into what that means, let me share a scripture with you that’s been stirring in my heart.
In 2 Chronicles 20:20, we find King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah in the middle of a great battle. They’re surrounded by enemies, and Jehoshaphat is seeking God’s guidance. Here’s what he says to the people:
"Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe His prophets, and you will succeed."
What does this mean for us? Believing in God sets us on a solid foundation where we can’t be moved. But when we listen to the prophetic words God gives through His prophets, there’s an opportunity to prosper and step into a new dimension of victory.
Prophetic Words: Tools for Victory
Prophetic words are more than encouragement—they’re tools for spiritual warfare. They’re designed to superimpose God’s anointing over any situation you’re facing, breaking through barriers and setting you up for success.
Here’s what God has shared with me about the season we’re stepping into: 2025 is a time for decisive victories. These aren’t just close calls or “barely made it” wins. Decisive victories are clear-cut, undeniable breakthroughs where God’s hand is unmistakable in your life.
Let me give you an example. Back in September, I started praying with someone who was on parole until 2027. They had restrictions on where they could go and what they could do—it was like a constant weight holding them back. But knowing what God had spoken about decisive victories, we prayed and declared freedom over their life.
Fast forward to November: they went to update their address with their parole officer, only to be told, “Your parole is completely over—you’re free.” That’s a decisive victory! Situations like that don’t just change on their own—it’s the power of God breaking every yoke of bondage.
Three Keys to Receiving a Prophetic Word
Dr. Jerry Savelle taught me three things you need to do to activate a prophetic word in your life. These steps are simple, but they’re crucial for walking in God’s promises:
Believe it
Believe that God said it and that it’s true.Mix faith with it
Don’t just believe it’s possible—believe it’s possible for you.Sow a seed toward it
This doesn’t always mean money, but it does require action. Do something to show God you’re serious about receiving what He’s promised.
Personally, I’ve been sowing seeds into people and ministries that are already walking in decisive victories. I want to encourage you to do the same. Pray and ask God where He wants you to sow, and trust Him to guide you.
Step Into Your Victory
This year, God wants to take you beyond just getting by. He wants to give you such clear victories that every trace of the enemy in your life is erased. Whether it’s in your health, finances, relationships, or ministry, God’s anointing is here to break through and make the impossible possible.
