Welcome to Your Journey Through the Bible!

This beginner’s Bible reading plan will guide you through the New Testament first, starting with the Gospels, followed by daily readings from Psalms and Proverbs. It is designed to help you get familiar with God’s Word while offering daily encouragement and wisdom. We recommend using whichever Bible translation is most relatable to you! Jeromiah and Jessica often read the King James Version (KJV), New King James Version (NKJV), New Living Translation (NLT), and New American Standard Bible (NASB). If you're new to the Bible, the New Living Translation (NLT) or New International Version (NIV) are great options.

How the Plan Works:

  • Start with the Gospels: Begin with the Gospel of John, then read Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

  • New Testament Next: After the Gospels, continue through Acts and the rest of the New Testament.

  • Old Testament: Once you complete the New Testament, dive into the Old Testament.

  • Psalms and Proverbs Daily: Read a Psalm and a Proverb every day. The Proverb corresponds to the date (e.g., Proverb 1 on the 1st of the month).

Daily Bible Reading Schedule:

Days 1-24: The Gospel of John

  • John 1 to 24 (one chapter per day)

  • Daily Psalm

  • Daily Proverb
