It's Time to Move: Embrace God's Call and Step into Your Purpose
Hey, what's up everybody? It's Jeromiah Emanuel here. I have a very special message to share with you today. It's early in the morning on July 12th, 2024, and I was spending some time studying with the Lord when I felt a powerful word come forth. I’ve written it down and I'm excited to share it with you.
One insight that comes from God is not to be kept to oneself—it's meant to be shared so everyone can benefit. At Born To Win Ministries, our goal is for everyone to contribute to the victory. If I receive a word that’s going to help us win, I have to share it with you.
A Word from God
Here’s the word I received from God, a message for you:
"A message from God to you who He loves
but loves you too much to keep on the kid gloves.
Something's been changing deep in your heart;
something's just different. It's a brand new start.
A new start to what, God knew you would ask,
a start of a journey, to where you now need to bask.
‘Bask? Like warmth? Like sun on my skin?’
The sun's needed for growth to begin.
The places you've been have gotten too cold,
so it's time to move on before you get caught and sold.
But don't worry, I've planned this. It's all been arranged.
Get ready for excitement and joy even if things feel strange.
I don't ask you to go if I won't build you up,
so here’s a look of blessings to overfill your cup.
Now it won't all be easy; nothing ever is,
but just remember I'm faithful and that you're my kid.
I've sworn to take care of you, and that I will do.
Just remember there's nothing Jesus died for that isn't for you.
So pray a lot, sing a lot, and keep your thoughts light.
This is a new level of my goodness for you to see, and there's no end in sight."
Embracing the Journey
This word brings insight, direction, and expectation for what we’re going to see God do—not only now but in the days to come. Some of you will start new journeys, receive direction on different places to go, or even discover new jobs. This word means something different for each person who hears it.
I won’t just drop a word on you and leave you to figure it out. I’ll take several teachings to dive into this word, exploring its different aspects and what it means. We’ll look at examples from the Bible to provide further understanding. This is our menu for what’s to come.
Receiving a Prophetic Word
There are three steps to receiving a prophetic word from God:
Believe: Trust that it’s a word from God, not something made up. I was about to go to bed, but the Lord called me to spend time in the word and showed me this.
Receive: Accept the word and be willing to act on it.
Sow a Seed or Take Action: Put action to the word. Start building, look at the instructions, and see what God is saying to do.
Biblical Examples
None of the greats in the Bible—Abraham, David, Saul—achieved greatness without a journey. They all had to leave where they were and move to where God wanted them to be. This journey is essential to experiencing the fullness of God's greatness.
